LSU Health New Orleans Nurses Among Great 100 Nurses

LSU Health Nursing faculty nonorees

Seven members of the faculty of LSU Health New Orleans School of Nursing were among those honored in 2022 by The Great 100 Nurses Foundation.

They are Laurie Finger, DNP, MSN, MN, CNS, NP, CCNS, CPNP-AC, Instructor of Clinical Nursing; Adele Harrell, PhD, MSN, RN, Program Director for CARE BSN Program, Instructor of Clinical Nursing; Elizabeth Hopkins, MSN, RN, Instructor of Clinical Nursing; Linda Ledet, DNS, APRN, PMHCNS-BC, Assistant Professor of Clinical Nursing, Off-Campus Instructional Site Director; Sam Mauldin, PhD, RN, PMH-BC, Instructor of Clinical Nursing; Aimme McCauley, DNP, RN, CNE, NSTC Learning Lab Coordinator and Simulation Specialist; and Nicole Thomas, DNP, RN, CCM, Program Director for Traditional BSN Program, Instructor of Clinical Nursing.

According to the Foundation, these exemplary Nurses are selected based on their concern for humanity, their contributions to the profession of Nursing, and their mentoring of others. The Great 100 Foundation considers its honorees Nurse Heroes.
